On March 8, 1975, Women's Day was proclaimed, and today, March 8, Women's Day is celebrated.
The importance of Women's Day is that it is commemorated around the world to show the importance of empowering women, protecting their rights.
Women have the same rights as men. Women have fought and fought and achieved many things.
They have the right to:
- vote, hold public office, work, earn the same salary, own property, receive an education, sign contracts, have the same rights within marriage and maternity leave.
In Spain they have got some of these rights but in other continents like Africa they don´t have any rights. They are only "objects" for men.
THEIR FIGHT IS OUR FIGHT!!!
